We are delighted to share some screenshots and feedback of our Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Course from Saturday 20th February 2021.  The Webinar was a great success and featured interactive Polling, Q&A and questions were also answered during the live panel discussions.

Developed in 2012 by Professor P N Haray, this course is aimed at Junior Doctors, Medical Students and Staff Nurses, who are all involved in a patient’s surgical journey. It intends to help improve the recovery of patients, which will lead to a reduction in the length of time a patient stays in hospital following surgery.

Feedback comments:

Advantages of enhanced recovery programme for patients.  Well structured webinar and well organised.

Informative and interactive. Relevant to my workplace. A great learning opportunity!

How using ERAS reduces patients hospital stay and the benefits for patients outcomes. Members of the multidisciplinary team were involved in presenting in the live panel discussion. All was very clear and concise.

It was nice to have information from all the members of the team; anaesthetist, surgeon as well as the specialist nurse to get an overview of all the aspects of the patients care.
